Yamaha Motor Company Limited, a manufacturer of motorcycle, marine products, and other motorized products based in Japan which was established in 1955 upon separation from Yamaha corporations and is headquartered in Iwata Shizuoka, Japan. YMC entered the Indian market in 1985 and had huge success, as the bikes manufactured by the company have a great demand in the country.
India Yamaha Motor Pvt. Ltd. has recently announced the introduction of the “colour customization option” for its collection of MT 15 motorcycles in India. The company’s new campaign is organized after the customer’s positive response to their recent launch of ICE Fluo-Vermillion colour in MT 15, a variant which is currently available via booking. Yamaha stated that with the advent of colour customization they are expected to attract younger customers.
The campaign termed “Customize your Warrior” which is in accordance with the company’s brand strategy has been available from 21st November across the country. The bike cost Rs. 1,43,900/- and the Yamaha MT-15 comes with a 155 cc liquid-cooled, 4-stroke, SOHC, 4-valve& 6-speed transmission. The 155 ccs fuel-injected engine comes along with a Variable Valve Actuation system on a Delta box frame. The bike also got an A&S clutch and single-channel ABS. For the new purchases, available only from the date of launch, the new MT buyers can make use of the option of building colours for their MT-15 by choosing from about 11 different combinations. Thus the vehicles will be made by Yamaha based on the order received from their customers. The company informed that the delivery would start from January 2021 and that the Neon Green coloured wheel model will get delivered from March 2021. With this campaign, MT15 will be finally available in the country with around 14 different colors, from which 3 existing basic colours will be available at the distributers. For the other 11 new colours combinations introduced, the customer can put forth orders with India Yamaha motor through their authorized dealerships.Through this new venture Yamaha India provides its costumers with wide range of motors in new attractive visuals.
