New Delhi, 26th March 2025: YesMadam, India’s leading at-home salon service, is featured in JioHotstar’s acclaimed docuseries Brands of Tomorrow Season 3. The episode captures YesMadam’s vision to revolutionize salon services through convenience, hygiene, and quality, offering a glimpse into the brand’s growth from a bootstrapped startup to a trusted name in the beauty industry.
Founded in 2016 by brothers Mayank Arya and Aditya Arya, alongside co-founder Akanksha Vishnoi, YesMadam set out to solve a fundamental challenge – bringing professional, hygienic salon services into homes. Despite being bootstrapped, the company has scaled rapidly, expanding into 55+ cities and empowering 7,500+ service professionals.
The episode traces the brand’s early struggles, navigating financial constraints and the unexpected challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic. It also highlights YesMadam’s pioneering mono-dose packaging, an innovation ensuring hygiene and transparency while creating economic stability for service professionals.
A Story of Resilience & Reinvention
Before founding YesMadam, Mayank Arya built a successful career in the Merchant Navy and later ventured into entrepreneurship in Africa. By 30, he had achieved financial success—but an armed robbery left him with multiple fractures, forcing him to rebuild his career from scratch.
The turning point came when his wife had an allergic reaction after a home service appointment, highlighting the lack of hygiene and standardization in the industry. This experience led him and his brother to reimagine salon services – making them more accessible, safe, and professional.
“We saw a gap – people wanted quality salon experiences at home, but trust and hygiene were missing. That’s where YesMadam came in,” says Mayank Arya, Co-Founder of YesMadam. “We built a business on the belief that professional services should be affordable, standardized, and empowering – not just for customers but for the professionals who deliver them.”
Transforming Beauty Services & Empowering Women
YesMadam’s episode on Brands of Tomorrow showcases how the company goes beyond salon services – it’s a platform for professional growth. Service partners undergo rigorous training, including product knowledge, safety protocols, and app-based operations. The brand’s unique ‘RRR Ceremony’ (Rewards, Recognition, and Respect) celebrates the achievements of service professionals, with their families presenting awards to recognize their contributions.
“Our mission is bigger than beauty – it’s about dignity and opportunity,” says Akanksha Vishnoi, Co-Founder of YesMadam, “We’ve trained thousands of women, helping them achieve financial independence while delivering exceptional service. Brands of Tomorrow perfectly captures how technology and human empowerment can redefine an industry.”
A Brand That Continues to Grow
YesMadam has rapidly expanded its market presence, bolstered by its appearance on Shark Tank India and the onboarding of Shraddha Kapoor as its brand ambassador. These milestones have strengthened YesMadam’s position as a category leader in this space.
