“You are never going to look as good as you feel and you are never going to feel as good as you look.”: Krishna Shroff, Founder, Matrix Fight Night

“Aesthetics and fitness are distinct; don’t mix the two. What matters most is how you feel internally.”  Nikita Dutta, Actor

Mumbai, 22 February 2025: “You are never going to look as good as you feel and you are never going to feel as good as you look. I eat everything but practice portion control. You can enjoy a Gulab Jamun, just keep it to one. Balance is key. I have tried all kinds of diets, but what has worked for me is portion control.” Krishna Shroff, Founder, Matrix Fight Night

“Muscle is your key to longevity. Weight training will not make you bulky; eating processed food in a surplus will do that. However, the longer you train at the gym, the lower the quality of your workouts will be. Cortisol or the stress hormone levels shoot up, and you tend to retain water. Forty-five minutes to an hour of workout is good enough.”, she added

Talking about mental and physical fitness, Nikita Dutta, actor, said, At this point, everybody has mental health issues in the world we live in. Nobody is completely sane, but we are trying. It will take some time for the taboo around mental health to dissipate. Aesthetics and fitness are distinct; don’t mix the two. What matters most is how you feel internally.  I train 5 to 6 times a week, engaging in intense 45-minute sessions. I spread these out evenly throughout the week. I have not touched a biscuit. Every biscuit, no matter how healthy it is claimed to be, will contain preservatives. Diet, exercise, and rest are the secrets to a fit body. The key is to have a balanced diet. In terms of exercise, you’ve got to try different things to find out what works for you. Go for a walk if that feels good; find out what’s convenient for you.”
