Young PR Pro Dean Bernales Named as Tatler Asia Gen.T Leader of Tomorrow 2024.

Tatler Asia has named Dean Bernales, founder and CEO of Uniquecorn Strategies, as one of the 2024 Gen.T Leaders of Tomorrow. This prestigious annual list, curated by Asia’s leading luxury magazine, recognizes under-40 personalities who are shaping the future of Asia through their impactful work and demonstrating the potential to be high society’s future top leaders.

According to his Tatler Asia profile, “Since public relations expert Dean Bernales founded Uniquecorn Strategies in 2021, the company has worked with more than 50 local startups and secured major projects with clients such as Tier One Entertainment and PDAX. It has also launched Blockceler8, an innovative PR practice that caters to web3 brands, and opened an office in the UK.”

Bernales, 29, who won under the media and marketing category, is among the 35 Filipinos included in this year’s list, which features over 200 young leaders in Asia. This elite group comprises trailblazing entrepreneurs, investors, celebrities, social media superstars, Olympians, business executives, inventors, and civic advocates who are making a positive impact across Mainland China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Thailand.

Tatler Asia selected winners based on metrics such as business growth (customers, revenue, volume, etc.), fundraising success, disruptive products or services, expanded geographical impact, respected industry awards, and more. Collectively, this year’s winners have raised US$461 million and have a combined following of 21 million. This year’s Filipino judges include celebrity host Tim Yap and Franco Varona of Foxmont Capital Partners.

The Gen.T list was inaugurated in 2016 by Tatler Asia to spotlight young people leading change in Asia. Previous winners from the Philippines were celebrity Nadine Lustre and Olympian Hidilyn Diaz. Tatler is a British magazine published by Condé Nast Publications that covers high society, targeting the British and global upper class and upper-middle class (Tatler Asia, etc.). Its readership is the wealthiest of all Condé Nast’s titles, surpassing Vogue Magazine.
