Sept 29, 2012: The world’s largest restaurant chain Yum! Brands Inc opened its first owned Pizza Hut outlet in India. The company has opened its outlet in Mumbai’s Mira road and plans to open more new outlets in the country as part of their expansion plan.
Yum! Brands Inc which owns Pizza Hut and KFC plans to aggressively invest in Indian market as they target revenue more than $ 1 billion in the country in next five years. Yum Restaurants in India owns about 138 Pizza Huts dine-in-stores, 98 Pizza Hut delivery stores and three Mexican restaurants in the country.
