To kickstart 2022, Zee Tamil has planned a special surprise for its viewers. To satisfy the varying entertainment needs of its audience, Zee Tamil has planned a special line-up of shows to celebrate the New Year on 1st January 2022.
Whether it is debate shows, musicals, task-based shows, an action-packed film, a family drama, Zee Tamil has all the bases covered for the first day of the New Year.
To start the festivities there is Pattimandram, a classic debate show, which will be made extra interesting by the hosts and the panelists. They will be engaging in discussions on relevant topics of daily life.
The special will air at 9 am on Zee Tamil. The moderator is Suki Sivam, who is a Tamil orator and writer, and the winner of the Kalamamani Award by the Tamil Nadu State Government.
There will also be other famous personalities on the show like Shanthamani, Dr. Sundara Avudaiappan, Suchitra, Mohana Sundara, and more as panelists. The main topic of discussion will be ‘After the entry of the British, did we gain more, or did we lose more?’
After the debate the audience will be presented with the action-packed movie, ‘Gorilla’, at 10 am that is sure to be a roller coaster ride of emotions. The movie will be following the lives of four friends — an aspiring actor, a petty criminal, an employee who has been fired recently, and a farmer’s partner who has been denied a bank loan.
Don Sandy is the director of the film. The cast has Shalini Pandey, Jiiva, and King in the lead roles, and Radha Ravi, Sathish, Yogi Babu, Vivek Prasanna, Rajendran, and Ramdoss in pivotal roles. The real show-stealer will be the central character played by a real chimpanzee.
After the movie, the entertainment continues with ‘Sound Party’, a music-based game show starting at 12:30 pm. The show will see film celebrities like Actress Parvati Nair, Actor Vaibhav, Director and Actor Pandiarajan, Rithika and Som Shekar, and Samyuktha Shanmughanathan. RJ Vijay is the host of the show.
Following that at 2 pm, is another one and a half hours of task-based games during ‘Run Baby Run.’ The show will be hosted by actor Jagan and will be some popular artists like Puviarasu Muthusamy, Mithun, Nanda Master, Dharsana & Ashwini Radhakrishna, and Survivor Aishwarya Krishnan perform some hilarious tasks.
At 3:30 pm, Zee Tamil will feature the World Television Premiere of ‘Tuck Jagadish’. The film is directed by Shiva Nirvana. The cast includes Nani, Ritu Varma, Aishwarya Rajesh, Jagapathi Babu, among others.
